When packaged fruits, vegetables, flowers, and meat are stored at low & high temperatures, in plastic bags or cling wraps, the visibility of film or bags becomes poor due to moisture condensation on the inner surface of bags or films. Poor visibility hampers the marketability of the products packed in them. The packaging at low and high temperature demands non-fogging property & hence adequate visibility of products stored in it.
TapStar® AF is a unique, eco-friendly, non-hazardous, anti-fog (hot & cold) masterbatch for film surfaces to prevent the occurrence of fog on them & maintain visibility of the contents in the pack. It acts by converting condensation on the inner layer into large droplets that trickle down the film/coated surface, thus maintaining the visibility of foods stored.
